Las Vegas, Nevada has been deemed the city that never sleeps. The vast numbers of casinos that line the strip of Las Vegas with their twinkling and glowing lights of attraction are lit 24 hours a day to lure the over 35 million tourists that visit each year. The Las Vegas “Strip” as it is called is lined with some of the largest hotels in America with combined room capacity of over 130,000. Located on the south end of the strip you will find the Mandalay Bay, The Luxor and the Excalibur Hotel’s. There is a free monorail that runs between these three hotels. The Excalibur is a bright whimsical castle and at night it is lit up as a fairytale dream come true. A King Arthur theme with a pond and drawbridge that attracts tourists who grew up with the stories of medieval knights and castles. Tournament of Kings Venue entertains audiences while dining in time-honored medieval fashion.

Next to the Excalibur is the Luxor Hotel. Egyptian themed, this gigantic black pyramid rises up from the desert floor with its outer surface made entirely of glass. At night from the four corners’ of the pyramid zoom neon lights to the top of the hotel highlighting this glass super structure. A giant sphinx overlooks the entrance of the hotel with additional life size obelisks that line the walkways. Next to the Luxor is the Mandalay Bay Resort Hotel. A dazzling gold trimmed hotel that has grown in popularity for its Tropical beach themed water park. Sand and Surf beach, wave pool and the Lazy River are just some of the selections offered. Venturing north on the strip you will see across the street from the Excalibur the New York, New York. A colossal scaled down version of the city of New York complete with replicas of the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge and more. Further, down you will see a replica of the Eiffel Tower, a Volcano that erupts every 30 minutes for tourists, a pirate adventure and one of the finest water light shows in the world. Still venturing down the strip you will also see a replica of Piazza San Marco from Venice and the Stratosphere where you can get the best view of Las Vegas and ride a roller coaster 869 feet above the city.
 Last Minute Vegas (728x90)
Still, with all the glimmering light shows and attractions of the strip, the best deals and most affordable are found away from the Las Vegas strip. More towards the center of town are the older Casinos that still offer the low cost all you can eat buffets and low priced budget rooms. The entertainment venues are not as spectacular, but they do offer bargains on accommodations, entertainment and meals to entice you to stay and gamble at their hotel. Once renowned for the all-you-can-eat buffets, Las Vegas has popularized itself on serving up some of the worlds most famous dining experiences. From casual dining to five star restaurants that line the strip from Planet Hollywood to Yolos Mexican Grill, from Sushi to Wolfgang Puck’s Bar & Grill. Not anyone who travels to Vegas will be disappointed with the vast assortment of dining experiences that are available.
